For over 10 years, FTR Gold has been the standard of court recording solutions. Now, the new and refined FTR Gold family of products present a rich, expanded feature set that deliver all the functionality courts need to capture and manage the record of proceedings, both now and well into the future. |
What are FTR Reporter and FTR Reporter A/V?
FTR Reporter™ and FTR Reporter™ A/V are software-based solutions for capturing, annotating, playing back and managing the record of proceedings. Central to the FTR Gold family of products, the FTR Reporter applications support digital recording of 4-channel audio and video (requires FTR Reporter A/V). In addition, both applications incorporate all of the functionality found in companion products such as FTR Log Notes®, and TheRecord PlayerTM, thereby facilitating linked note-taking as well as review and playback of pre-recorded content.

FTR Reporter & FTR Reporter A/V in the Courtroom
The FTR Reporter applications feature familiar tape recorder-style controls that require minimal user training and virtually no change to existing recording processes. Essential features such as 4-channel audio recording with video capture capability, confidence monitoring and simultaneous archiving and back-up offer the peace of mind that court proceedings will be successfully recorded and safely archived. In addition, FTR Reporter and FTR Reporter A/V offer significant advantages when locating, duplicating or sharing content compared to analog cassette tapes. For example, the powerful, integrated search engine enables rapid search and retrieval of relevant recordings and log sheets, while facilitating duplication of specific pre-recorded segments very quickly and easily.
Further, either of these applications can be used in conjunction with TheRecord MangagerTM - FTR's robust and versatile content management solution, to achieve real-time sealing of proceedings and concurrent (dual) archiving to a network location as well as optical media (among other capabilities).

Additionally, transcribers will enjoy the superior quality recording delivered by FTR Reporter and FTR Reporter A/V (through TheRecord Player) as well as the variety of time-saving tools they offer. Features such as individual channel volume control, support for user-configurable foot controls, global shortcuts and ability to speed-up or slow-down playback while maintaining the pitch offer significant benefits to users and have a direct positive impact on productivity and efficiency.
